Georg-Speyer-Haus researchers using our TCR repertoire analysis published a scientific paper in 'Cell'

2018/06/28

Our collaborator has published a paper in "Cell", one of the world's most influential scientific journal, titled "Mitophagy in Intestinal Epithelial Cells Triggers Adaptive Immunity during Tumorigenesis" on June 28, 2018.

This study, led by Dr. Paul K. Ziegler and Prof. Dr. Florian R. Greten in Georg-Speyer-Haus, has shown that a so-far-unrecognized link between mitochondrial function, lysosomal integrity, and MHC class I presentation in intestinal epithelial cells (IECs) and suggested that therapies triggering mitophagy or inducing lysosomal membrane permeabilization in IECs may prove successful in shifting the balance toward anti-tumor immunity in colorectal cancer.

This study indicates that our immune repertoire analysis is a useful tool for immune-oncology research. We will accelerate the company's contribution to the optimal medical care to each patient by committing to the research and business expansion of new diagnostics and therapeutics.
