UCSD researchers using our TCR/BCR repertoire analysis published a scientific paper in 'Nature'

2017/11/22

Our collaborator has published a paper in "Nature", the world's most influential scientific journal, titled "Inflammation-induced IgA+ cells dismantle anti-liver cancer immunity" on November 16, 2017. This study, led by Dr. Michael Karin (Distinguished Professor of Pharmacology and Pathology) and Dr. Shabnam Shalapour (Assistant Professor) at UC San Diego School of Medicine, has shown that chronic liver inflammation promotes cancer by suppressing immunosurveillance--a natural defense mechanism in which it's thought that the immune system suppresses cancer development. This study also explains the success of some types of cancer immunotherapy, and provides new targets for the development of novel immunotherapies
This study indicates that our immune repertoire analysis is a useful tool for immune-oncology research. We will accelerate the company's contribution to the optimal medical care to each patient by committing to the research and business expansion of new diagnostics and therapeutics.
